They (at the pediatricians office) had recently had a baby who was swaddled, roll over and because he couldn't use his appendages to move around he almost suffocated with his face smushed in the crib. Although he survived, sadly he is brain damaged. I've always felt like Levi's safe as long as he's in that inclined position. We do have him out of the swaddle now. Hence the bad sleeping. I've never seen a baby do that, how cute!!

I know it really sucks trying to break a Sleep habit but I would encourage you to try to either go without the swaddle now that he can roll and is in a rock and play (or move him out of the Rock and play and keep the swaddle?) just because one night I was still doing both and Otto rolled himself over face first in the rock and play while swaddled and was stuck. it was terrifying and I'm glad I was awake to rescue him. Maybe start by freeing his arms from the swaddle? That's what I've done and then transition to sleep sack. You're also supposed to stop once they start rolling. We didn't have them back in my day. It seems like if it helps him sleep better, why not keep using it? and I love the hair bow!! traciehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01435303382419985657noreply@blogger.com
