The Saturday 7

1. What a crazy week. On Sunday we were swimming in Niki's pool. Wednesday, I took the kids to the splash pad. But by yesterday, I turned the heat back on! As Levi said, "Sometimes there's a tinesy bit of winter after spring before summer gets here." Lol. I hope he's right about the "tinesy" part! We stayed busy despite the extremes of weather. Sunday after church found us at Niki's for family lunch and swimming. It was actually sprinkling most of the time the kids were in the pool, but they didn't care! Levi living his best life. 😂 I also got some baby Thea snuggles . . . 😍 Then we made Saylor and Thea pose together. They're almost exactly 2 months apart, and already BFFs.  Thea is already a pro at the face-palm. 😂 2. On Monday I got to watch Nash and Saylor for a couple hours.  I have Nova on Mondays too. She loves babies, so we all had a blast. Isn't her hair the best?! It's good for me to get my baby fix this way, because carry...

1. We got a good taste of summer this week, with temps in the upper 80s. Just in time for me to sign up for my summer classes!  I'm excited about Social Media Marketing, but dreading Health and Wellness. Haha.  I'm halfway through my spring semester and still enjoying it. I feel like the work is getting a little harder. For my reference class, this week we had to pretend to be reference librarians and answer a legal question from a "patron." I don't even understand the legal system or government most of the time. How am I supposed to help anyone else?? Fortunately, we're dealing with imaginary scenarios, but it's reinforcing my decision to stick to school libraries or children's sections. Haha. 2. On Tuesday, Levi brought home his first reading book and I realized this is the last kid I'll have to teach to read! Hallelujah! Truth be told, the school does most of the teaching. I just have to reinforce it and make him read the books they send home . ...
